I have always been a terrible sleeper... I joke about having a crazy second wind at about 9.30pm but it’s pretty accurate. Normally if I manage to sleep I have nights filled with crazy dreams. Coming home and trying to sleep during show season can be seriously challenging. Lack of sleep = sickness = no singing = sad.
Lavender oil has been the most helpful thing - sprinkling it on your pillow or putting in on your wrists like you would perfume. I also love Sleepy from Lush which is infused with oatmeal, almond oil, lavender water, jojoba oil and cocoa butter. If nothing else it feels very nice! Sweet dreams y’all.
